Spring is almost here and it’s time for a deep clean of your home! Use this spring cleaning checklist to help get your home in tip-top shape:
1. Dust and Vacuum: Start by dusting all surfaces, including furniture, shelves, and baseboards. Then, vacuum the floors, carpets, and upholstery to remove any dust and debris.
2. Clean Windows: Clean your windows inside and out, including the frames and sills. This will let in more light and freshen up your home.
3. Clean Kitchen and Bathrooms: Scrub your kitchen and bathroom surfaces, including the sink, countertops, shower, and bathtub. Don’t forget to clean the toilets and replace the towels and rugs.
4. Laundry: Wash all of your bed linens, curtains, and any other items that need to be refreshed. This is also a good time to go through your closets and drawers and get rid of any items that you no longer need.
5. Organize Your Home: Take a few hours to go through each room and declutter. Donate or sell items that you no longer use and reorganize your belongings to make them more accessible.
6. Clean the Exterior: Clean your outdoor spaces, including the patio, deck, and sidewalks. This is also a good time to clean your outdoor furniture and grill.
7. Tackle the Garage: Clean out your garage and organize any tools, sports equipment, and other items that may have accumulated over the winter.
8. Landscaping: Give your yard a good clean-up by raking leaves, removing any dead plants, and planting new flowers or shrubs.
