Mexican cuisine is a staple in the United States and if you’re looking for a delicious and authentic Mexican dining experience, look no further than Prince William County.

Whether you’re in the mood for a hearty burrito, a sizzling fajita, or a refreshing margarita here are the 5 great Mexican restaurants in Western Prince William county that would be the perfect spot to spend this Valentine’s Day.

 

1. Hector’s in Nokesville

 

From the moment you walk into the restaurant, you are greeted with “Hola, Amiga” and the warmest smile.  You feel like you have entered Mexico and can’t wait to have a margarita.  Prices are very reasonable too. 

 

2. Mariachi’s Tequileria and Restaurant

 

This quaint place located in Old Town Manassas makes every day seem like Taco Tuesday.  On Fridays, they offer live music throughout the restaurant and if you’re lucky you might be serenaded.

 

3. La China Poblana Taqueria

 

Located on Center Street in Manassas offers authentic tacos. The menu features traditional Mexican dishes, such as tacos al pastor, chile rellenos. The portions are generous and the prices are affordable, making it a great place to bring your family or a group of friends. 

 

4. El Tio Tex-Mex Grill

 

There is branchlocated in Gainesville that is a hot spot for all the locals.  Excellent, authentic food and you can’t go wrong with anything off the menu here. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff is always friendly and accommodating.

This hidden gem is located in the town of Haymarket.  Great service, authentic Mexican food.  This place makes you feel like it is Taco Tuesday everyday. The portions are generous and the prices are affordable, making it a great place for a family dinner or a night out with friends.
